Tasty Decay Mmmm

Took today off, mainly to take Karen to an exam, but also because I damn deserve it damn you. Had three hours to kill while examinations took place so went into Reading and experimented with the concept of NOT BUYING STUFF because I have a fucking mortgage now. Lovingly stroked some nice design books an CDs then spent a couple of hours taking photos. I like the idea of restricted creativity, usually I’d visit somewhere I actively want to go where I expect to find some decent shots. I forced myself to try and find something interesting to shoot in Reading town centre (been there? dull as fuck). Quite happy with the result.

anxious silence is
The 'personal creative blog' of Bob Barker. The intention being to include purely bits and pieces of creative work and hence build a portfolio in a very lazy manner. My primary purpose in this life (so far) is as a web developer with occasional forays into the world of design and illustration. I also own a camera, I guess this makes me a photographer (of sorts). On occasion I write music and also run Line Out Records.
I run the web/media studio Shinytastic, we make things shiny (web development and multimedia). I'm fascinated with many forms of creativity including animation, typography, photography, film making, illustration, design and some other stuff. My writing skills suck.
I spend as much of my life as possible away from people and technology talking to wildlife. I am fond of tea.
